Deposits fund prepared work.

If a paid founding pilot is cancelled before Threadline starts research, copy, targeting, or proof-asset work, ask by email and the deposit can be refunded unless a different written term was agreed.

Once research, strategy, copy, or proof-asset work has begun, deposits are generally non-refundable because they reserve capacity and fund prepared work. If scope changes, Threadline will handle it by text before continuing.

If a delivered asset is materially incomplete against the agreed scope, email threadline@megaloop.app with the issue. The usual remedy is correction or replacement of the scoped asset, not a guaranteed outcome refund.

Future retainers should state their billing period and cancellation window in text before they begin. Retainer fees already earned for completed work are not automatically refundable.
